SUGAR SAND BEACH *Atkinson Designs
Our quilting class will tackle a slightly more challenging pattern, so it's best for students who can sew a precise 1/4" seam; if you can consistently work with a 1/4" seam and have a 1/4" presser foot (or quarter-inch piecing foot), you'll be ready to join us as we cover accurate cutting, chain piecing, and pressing techniques to achieve crisp points and smooth intersections in a supportive learning environment.

IMPORTANT CLASS INFORMATION
You will need to have the following supplies for this class:
Sugar Sand Beach quilting pattern
Rotary cutter (with new blade)
Creative Grid Spider Web Ruler
optional: 12" x 12" ruler
FABRIC for quilt sizes:
Lap Full Queen King
Jelly Roll: 32, 50, 72, 83 strips
or
Fat Qtrs: 11, 17, 24, 28
You will also need fabric for the background:
4, 7, 9 3/4, 11 1/3 yds
and the backing:
4, 7 5/8, 9, 10 1/3 yds.
